Acne n skin care

I used to have acne problem..it was pretty bad.u know it was bad when everyone started telling u to use this n that to combat the problem and ur dad went through such hassle just to buy u acne cream,acne soap etc..i didnt realise dad can b so concern abt the acne until one afternoon, while we were talking, he couldnt help staring at my face n then pointing at one of the acne, asking "what's that?"
isk..dad...its acne laa..dont embarass me like tht.
the acne had a happy life on my face for more than 2 years.during tht time i got to understand y ppl can get low-self esteem just bcoz of some small skin prob.i refused to take pictures and shy away everytime ppl talking abt make ups.

how did it start anyway?previously i had a 21 years of life free from acne until suddenly i started to change facial cleanser. i was so mesmerized with the ad. well, it says Dove has 1/4 moisturiser rite?the thing is that, its not just the moisturising effect that important..compatibility with our skin also plays a role. in my case, my skin says a big NO NO to Dove. i didnt realise it at first.i thought my skin just "maturing", so its kinda normal to go through tht stage. from Dove, i changed to a hell lot of cleanser..u named it..i got Ponds, Safi, Eversoft , goat's milk , some pharmaceutical stuff, i even went to see the doc for help n was given Lactacyd..but nothing works. they just make my face felt more tightened and the acne blossomed merrily.. until 2 years after that,i tried Nivea. i used to use Nivea before when my skin was OK .

After using Nivea (again) my skin started to feel the difference.its slow, but i like it that way. i always think fast recovery always lead to another problem.initially i just use cleanser.the acne gone ..except during PMS (cant help my biological cycle). last year, i got complaints again abt my skin.ok..so no more pimples, but my sis said i got a bad sun burn.so i had Nivea's multiple whitening cream for 30+..i know it doesnt really sounds rite with my 20's age..but i need a high SPF.but it works fine.slowly my skin gets fairer a bit. then my friend complained (again) that my skin is getting dry.perhaps i didnt use moisturiser..which is true.she suggested me to use Clinique. but since im falling in love with Nivea products, i decided to try Nivea's moisturiser first. so i got myself the Refreshing toner and All Day Aqua moisturiser (a.k.a Aqua Sensation). works miracle to me.the pores get finer and my friend now compliments abt my improved skin.then i tried Nivea's Aqua Sensation Anti-shadow cream..after abt 3 weeks using it, my baggy under eye seems to reduce a LOT...thanx Nivea..this is not a free ad for Nivea..just wanna share some of my thought abt my fav skin care product.I cant wait to finish my Pond's night cream coz i wanna start Nivea's Regenerating Night cream.:)
